Clove's Story
Game Summary:
Clove finds herself in the principal's office at school after engaging in a fight with her step-brother Jibu. She must talk her way out of detention with her homeroom teacher Ms. Kurano.
Should she lie or tell the truth? Help Clove navigate her way through this interactive visual novel through choices!

This short visual novel was developed in Ren'Py.
I created this for the "Only One of Any Asset" (O2A2) Visual Novel Jam 2024, a micro Visual Novel jam with strict asset limitations and a 1,000 word limit. The entire game and all of its artwork were created in less than a week by Michelle Rakar.
This was my first time using Ren'Py so I used my recently learned Python knowledge to learn how to create a game in this engine.

Super cool concept! I really like how we’re piecing together the inciting events at the same time as the main ‘antagonist’ (kinda sorta). It’s like reverse dramatic irony.
Thank you! Yeah, it was a fun way to try and tell the story in a different way while keeping within the strict limitations of the jam.

Injustice irks me a lot, but I like reading it in stories and seeing how characters turn it around,.
